The Shape the World Summit 2025 (STWS25) seeks to galvanize leaders from business, philanthropy, and civil society to embrace creative leadership aimed at driving social impact and fostering meaningful dialogue.

Celebrating its 20th edition, STWS25 marks a significant milestone as it convenes in Europe for the first time, coinciding with the Catholic Church’s Great Jubilee of Hope. This summit continues the legacy initiated in Singapore two decades ago, inspired by Chiara Lubich’s vision of the Economy of Communion - a model advocating for businesses that are both profitable and committed to the common good.

Though launched in Singapore, our event is inspired by Chiara Lubich, UNESCO peace prize laureate, who envisioned in 1991 in Sao Paulo, Brazil a new generation of companies - profitable yet committed to the common good - known as the Economy of Communion.

As we celebrate our 20th edition, after years across Asia, we are honored to return to Italy during the Catholic Church’s Great Jubilee of Hope. Our event has featured influential leaders of change such as Sarawak Premier Abang Johari Openg and Temasek Holdings Chairman Lim Boon Heng.
